The Work
Since the beginning of 2021 we have organised and conducted weekly interviews with a global cast of ex-football players and managers, in which they discuss their footballing memories, nostalgic moments in their career and anything topical related to the current season or tournament. These interviews have supported the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League, World Cup and Euro’s throughout this time.
All interviews are then transcribed and turned into a press release and sent out to key media, with all quotes being credited to Ladbrokes 5-A-Side/Fanzone. This simple formula has been the mainstay of Ladbrokes sports coverage over the last three years.
On top of this, each player also provides social content and fixture predictions. The content is then used on Ladbrokes own channels and bets are offered through the form of a ‘Pundit Pick’, once again referencing the 5-A-Side/Fanzone proposition.
