Finn Partners Acquires Ying Communications

As we continue our development as a growing, world-class global agency, it’s essential that we make strategic moves and expand the Finn Partners brand in Asia Pacific.
That is why I am excited to announce that Finn Partners has acquired Ying Communications – together with its sister marketing agency, True Worth Consultants – through the 100% purchase of Ying Pte Ltd, the holding company which owns both agencies.
Based in Singapore, Ying Communications is a leading, 35-person, B2B, integrated PR and marketing firm with a special focus on the tech sector. Our plan is for our new Singapore agency to serve as the hub and headquarters of our Asia Pacific operations. This is a very exciting and strategic ‘next step’ for Finn Partners.
Ying Communications was started 16 years ago by Allan Tan and Yin Ching Yeap, formerly with IBM, Shell and Singapore Airlines. They have built Ying Communications into one of the most respected independent B2B tech agencies in Singapore and the region. Ying has a terrific client list, including Airbus, Cisco Systems, Cognizant, Cloudera, HP Enterprise, HP Inc, MediaMath, Microsoft, Pure Storage, SES, S&P Global Platts, and Tableau, among many others.
Ying will now be known as Ying Communications, a Finn Partners Company. As we work to expand our presence in Asia Pacific, we expect that the Finn Partners brand will become ever more prominent.
This acquisition and future ones are fundamental to reaching our objectives as a world class agency, and are in line with our growth strategy to deepen our capabilities within our different practice areas, broaden our geographic reach, and enhance our standing in the PR agency and integrated marketing world.
Most importantly, working collaboratively with Allan and Yin and their staff is above all a natural move for Finn Partners in the sense that they share our core values and principles: they are passionate about the work they do for their clients; they know the tech sector inside and out and are committed to creating a best-place-to-work environment.
