2025 Education Industry Marketing Landscape: Survey Report

Business-to-education marketers always face significant hurdles: complex (and shrinking) funding, constantly-evolving district priorities, increasing demand for efficacy research, and an abundance of stakeholders who influence purchasing decisions—parents, teachers, building admins, school boards, district admins, and state and federal lawmakers.

Our team recently published its 6th annual Education Marketing Trends & Insights report, based on responses from our late 2024 survey of business-to-education leaders.
We found that education marketers are:
- Remaining optimistic as ESSER Covid relief funding ends
- Interested in investing more in geo-focused campaigns
- Slightly deprioritizing retention efforts (though we caution against it)
- Prioritizing lead nurturing in an increasingly competitive market
