Professional Experience
I bring to FINN Partners almost ten years of HR experience, having built the HR department at a mid-sized PR agency in New York City. In doing so, I handled everything from benefits and payroll, HR policies and procedures, recruitment and retention and staff training and development. I also assisted with the company’s global expansion, from expatriating staff to addressing U.K. HR matters. The thing that has served me most in my HR role is the 15 years I spent doing PR. Yes, it was exciting to work on some of the world’s most well-known consumer brands with Fortune 500 clients such as 3M, Hasbro, Kellogg, Kraft Foods and Walmart. However, the lessons I learned in serving those clients – effective communication, the value of transparency, ensuring that tactics and execution aligned with strategy – also ensure HR success. Essentially, agency leadership and employees are my “clients” now and I am applying those skills and lessons internally to help shape the employee experience and allow the company, in turn, to thrive.
Well done is better than well said.

How'd you get here?
FINN Partners is the fifth PR agency on my resume. However, it is the only agency where I will work exclusively in human resources. I spent the first 15 years of my career as a PR practitioner, progressing from an intern at a large Philadelphia firm to Senior Vice President at a mid-size New York City agency. Halfway through my tenure with the latter, an exciting opportunity presented itself and I decided to pursue it; that proved to be the beginning of my HR career. In 2019, another opportunity arose: to join Finn Partners as their global head of HR. It felt like the natural next step in my HR career.
