Head of Account Management, Integrated Marketing

The Opportunity:
FINN Integrated Marketing is looking for an experienced and driven Head of Account Management to lead our account team in delivering exceptional client service and fostering long-term relationships. You’ll focus on strategically managing and growing key accounts while ensuring alignment with our business goals. With visibility across all client-facing teams, you’ll develop solutions that drive client retention and growth, ultimately leading to impactful results.

Wherever you are. And in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays…if you want.

We’re a remote workplace (with optional in-office days). We have offices in Boston, Nashville, New York, Portland, DC and London.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Departmental Best Practices: Create and implement scalable best practices for account management, ensuring the team delivers consistent, high-quality service across all client engagements.
  • Collaborate with Sales for Account Growth: Partner with the sales team to create cohesive structures and processes that drive collaborative account growth, ensuring seamless handoff and alignment on client goals.
  • Strategic Leadership & Client Development: Lead the strategic direction of the department by identifying new opportunities, setting team goals, and maintaining focus on long-term client growth and retention.
  • Oversee and Develop Key Client Relationships: Manage high-profile accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic growth.
  • New Business: Actively participate in new business efforts beyond organic growth by contributing to strategic pitches, building client partnerships, and identifying cross-functional opportunities that align with agency capabilities and client needs.
  • Collaborate with Project Management for Seamless Client Service: Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth coordination between internal teams and client-facing needs, addressing both operational details and strategic goals. By aligning project timelines, deliverables, and expectations, ensure the client experience remains seamless across every touchpoint, from planning to execution, fostering consistency and clarity throughout the entire client journey.
  • Oversight of Complex Project Execution: Guide the team in managing concurrent work streams, addressing unique client needs, and ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Resource Alignment & Risk Management: Navigate competing priorities across teams, ensuring resources are aligned with client and business needs while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
  • Financial & Operational Stewardship: Oversee financial management, including monthly billing and reconciliation, while maintaining budget alignment and delivering actionable insights to senior management and clients.
  • Advocate for Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives that enhance service quality, improve internal processes, and foster innovation across the team, ensuring that all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, production, and strategy teams to implement client-centric solutions that deliver measurable results and align with the company’s goals.
  • Champion a Culture of Excellence: Instill a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the department, ensuring alignment with company values and business objectives.

Qualifications:  

  • 10+ years of experience in account management within a marketing or advertising agency.
  • Proven track record with multi-million dollar accounts.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver strategic, client-focused solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Anticipated Salary: 

Commensurate with experience and depending upon the workplace location.
